The Sean Rush-Bessi Singleton Scholarship

Sean Rush has endowed an annual scholarship to help talented artists in his community reach their creative potential.

As a child Sean was encouraged to pursue his love of art by his late grandmother, Bessi Singleton. Her complete support, her unconditional love, and her belief in him helped set him on his path in life.  With this in mind, Sean pays homage to his beloved granny by creating the Sean Rush-Bessi Singleton scholarship for the Fine Arts at Palm Beach Atlantic University.

Vinceremos

Therapeutic Riding Center

Vinceremos Therapeutic Riding Center has been sharing the joy of horses and the benefits associated with equine-assisted activities for children and adults with disabilities in Palm Beach County for 33 years. The 140 riders per week that visit the center build their physical strength, independence and confidence along with cultivating social skills. These are all wonderful results that enrich the lives of these participants, do you feel a but coming on? But, without the generous support of our community our ability to share this opportunity would be limited or not exist.

Sean Rush is part of the Vinceremos community. Sean has been inspired by horses in his art and was similarly inspired by the possibilities that a relationship with horses can create in the lives of those with disabilities. We thank Sean for his vision and encouragement in supporting Vinceremos through his generous donation of fine art to our annual benefit auction.

GOODWILL

Sean Rush is a dedicated professional who uses his passion to help the community by offering both his time and talent.

With his expertise in interior design, Sean Rush played a vital role in helping Gulfstream Goodwill Industries bring a new fundraiser to fruition. “Storage Wars” is now a signature event which generates important funds for Goodwill programs serving both youth and adults in our community. In addition, Sean competed as a designer in our second annual event when the “designer challenge” was introduced, taking home the first place award which was voted on by the 300 guests in attendance.
